Candle Pouring FAQs

What is the cancellation policy?

We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled booking. We understand that traffic and parking can be difficult in the area, so allow enough time for parking. We cannot accept guests into the class who are more than 10 minutes late; this is to ensure that they get the full candle making experience. If you are running late, we recommend rescheduling for another time or date. You can reschedule your class at any time if you need to. We do not offer refunds but you can reschedule for a different available date.

What exactly are the candles made of?

Our candles are made with coconut soy wax and phthalate free fragrance oils. Our oils are FDA approved, cruelty free, and skin safe.

Do the candles have fragrance? Can I make mine without fragrance?

Yes — we offer a large variety of fragrances for guests to choose from for their candles. If you’d like your candle to not have any fragrance, that’s okay too! It’s your creation!

How much is a class and what’s included?

The class is $45 per person. The price includes all the materials needed for the class, the vessel and fragrance of your choice, a step-by-step class on how to make your candle, and your finished candle to take home!

What do I need to bring to a class?

At checkin we will ask you for a form of ID that matches your reservation name. In this case a valid form of ID would be a drivers liscense, credit card, student ID, or passport. We will also accept photographs as proof if ID.

How big are the classes and how long do they last?

Class sizes often vary depending on how many spots are booked. They can be as large as 16 people or as small as 1 person. The class lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, and the candles take another 45 minutes to set enough for guests to take them home. Guests are more than welcome to wait those 45 minutes for their candles or come back on another day to pick them up. We hold your candles for up to 30 days, with a courtesy reminder call.

Do I need a reservation or can I just walk in?

At this time, reservations are required due to a limited number of seats and social distancing measures. We recommend booking in advance as our classes can book up quickly!

Can I bring food and drinks to my class?

Unfortunately, due to limited space on tables and not enough time in class, we do not allow food during the experience. However, feel free to bring your favorite beverages to enjoy. The only exception would be if you book a private event, food can be brought in and eaten while the candles are drying.

Is there a minimum or maximum class size?

Classes are typically between 15-20 people, depending on how many bookings that day. There is no minimum requirement to book. For private events, no event is too big or too small — all are welcome!

Can you host in any space or just in the store?

We are currently only offering events in store.

What if I can’t wait 45 minutes for my candle to dry?

No worries! We hold your candles for up to 30 days if you can’t make it back to pick up your candle. After 30 days, we will give you a courtesy phone call to remind you we still have your candle for pick up. Please make sure to check out our hours prior to coming to pickup your candle.

Can I refill my candle from a past visit?

Of course! We love when customers return and want to recycle their vessels. If you bring back a vessel from a previous class, you can receive 20% off another class. We can also refill the candle for you — with any fragrance of your choosing — for $25.

Do you accept cash or just credit cards?

We are cashless; we accept credit cards and debit cards. We strongly recommend booking online in advance to secure your spot.

How big are the candles?

Our candles are two-wick candles and hold about 12 ounces of wax. They have around 60 hours of burn time.

Is this experience good for kids?

For everyone’s safety, we recommend ages 10 and up for our workshops. All participants under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian signature.
